| DKP finetuning |

The DKP system was adjusted to the fact that we had alot of items where it was quesntionable how to deal with it without the DKP of some members going negative. Moreover giving items away for free proved to be very delicate.
We therefore introduced, as part of the DKP-trial phase, another calculation. I will outline it here only shortly and in more detail on the forum.
1) You get +5 DKP if you are in time BEFORE the raid and +15 DKP after the raid.
2) Each item will cost 50% of your current DKP (e.g. you have 20 DKP, then the first item would cost 10, the 2nd 5 and the 3rd item 2.5 DKP)
3) The person with the highest current DKP will have the priority on loot (rounded value to zero decimals).
We feel that this system has advandages since it prevents you from going negative, it should stop people from being too hesitant on bidding and it evens out the massive differences in DKP within the raid. If this system doesnt work, we can modify/revert it. Check out your current DKP on "standings". More details to come on the forum, stay tuned.

It has come to our attention that not everyone has full forum-access! Once you become a trialist to the forum, we usually upgrade your account so you can see all the subsections of the forum; it also allows you to see our tactics-discussions and such.

Hopes! In order to get a bit more raid days going, we will try to swap the saturday with another day.
Our first attempt will be MONDAY. So for the next few weeks, MONDAY will be a raid-day.

Our ranks are full of members, and full of ALTS. The DKP however, ALWAYS go to the main character, so each player has one account from which he can purchase his rewards.
Normally administration of alts goes smoothly, but if you notice some mistakes or other issues that need to be clarified, please contact me in-game (Zelthar, Asandor, Volos).
This also means that each member should check his DKP on a regular basis, and additionally veryfiy, that your alts are listed properly. Preferably BEFORE the raid. Just to prevent the "Oh... how much DKP do I have?" question during bidding. If you dont see your character, or your alt on the list when you clicked on "Standings" then just scroll to the bottom and click "show all" on the right side.

Hey Hopeys,
The raid bank ha gathered a lot of those lately, so we decided to hand some out to the raid members. I have sent 3 of them to each. You can hand them in for flasks if your reputation allows it, or just sell them and buy flasks from the money *beams*
If I forgot to send you some please poke me....hope I got all covered though.

The Hope is facing another epic battle, the battle at Mount Hyjal. We have to stand by the side of Jaina Proudmoore, leader of Theramore, and defeat our opponents: First of all Rage Wintherchill, who already felt the wrath of Hope. Our victory will not last long, if we do not strike again - the next target is Anetheron.
Read up on the encounters, sign in for the raids and be prepared.
